casinopeople - A Review

18 May 2009 188 views No Comment

As part of my blog monetization strategy, I occasionally review websites with regard to their content they offer and the services they provide their readers. This week’s review is of the online casino portal, Casino People.

Despite living in driving distance of Las Vegas, I’m not much of a gambler myself, which makes this review interesting to me as I come at it without any predispositions or expectations. So what does Casino People have to offer?

It is a portal site designed to provide the reader with a mix of information regarding online casinos – from a listing of some of the top-rated online casinos (including US online casinos), reviews of online casinos, a forum/message board, reviews of online games, and more. It also offers a variety of articles related to gambling, as well as pertinent news on the gambling industry.

For the most part, the site delivers what it claims to deliver. The reviews were easy to find and understand. They were reasonably objective and featured up-to-date information on the sites mentioned. I felt the language was a bit stilted, but the information was easy to understand and evaluate. The site is new, so certain aspects aren’t currently fully realized, such as a forum with very little information on it, but I can see this site growing and getting better as time go by, particularly since the people behind it have been involved in the online gaming industry for some time.

All in all, the site is off to a good start and I give it a solid B.
